Snowdrop is a node-based game design engine designed for video game developers and content creators. It enables users to prototype and test assets, accelerate development time, capture profiling data in the background during development, optimize rendering, set up and iterate on responsive 2D and 3D interfaces, as well as build, modify, and refine the animated content. Features include node graphs, modularity, supports lighting technology (such as real-time global illumination, dynamic day and night cycles, raytracing, reflections and contact shadows), visual programming tools, a library of nodes, widgets and compounds, an AI-module (behavior and navigation), an audio module, and a content browser for asset creation.
