About Association for Supply Chain Management

The Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) is a global nonprofit organization focused on enhancing supply chain management through education, certification, and thought leadership. Established in 1957 as the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), it rebranded to ASCM in 2018. The organization has expanded its reach by merging with the Supply Chain Council and the American Society of Transportation and Logistics, now operating in over 100 countries.
