Chris Stein, Flex Rental Solutions CEO, founded Flex in 2009 after more than 20 years cutting his teeth in professional AV for the Live Events industry. After years of planning, pulling, packing, and setting up gear for large scale events, he became frustrated with the lack of good enterprise resource planning software designed for the unique needs of the live events industry. Things were getting lost in the shuffle, warehouse crew had no way to communicate with accounting, the warehouse was a mess. Spreadsheets and legacy solutions were not cutting it anymore. Only problem was, such a system didn't exist...yet. So we got to work.
