The University of Virginia's College at Wise (UVA Wise) is a public liberal arts college located in the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia. Established in 1954 and part of the University of Virginia system, it serves approximately 2,330 students with a focus on personalized education, reflected in its 13:1 student-faculty ratio. UVA Wise offers 34 majors, 41 minors, and several pre-professional tracks, along with a graduate program in Curriculum and Instruction.
