The firm was founded in Athens in 1955 by Agis Metaxopoulos and was known as A. Metaxopoulos Law Offices until 2005 when it took its current form. From the very outset the firm began to grow and soon became established as one of the most specialised boutique law firms in Greece with an international reputation, handling intellectual and industrial property law matters along with its strong corporate/commercial practice and its distinguished dispute resolution department. Following its radical restructure and reorganisation in 2007, the firm experienced a substantial and remarkable growth. The firm led by its managing partner, Mr Kriton Metaxopoulos, who maintained and expanded its high-profile clientele, consists of 11 fee-earners and is supported by a network of associated law firms and counsels across Greece who offer full support to its clients.
