About A Place for Mediation

A Place for Mediation was established in 1985. It arose from a growing demand from 1985 on, in our parent agency Alternative Counselling Services. At inception, sensitive culturally family mediation was the primary focus. These services were expanded to include estate mediation and employment again by request. The advent of the Mandatory Mediation program saw the delivery of civil matters and in an attempt to encompass the needs we have evolved into a full service practice providing specialized mediation and arbitration in the field of family, civil, employment, construction, condominium, estate and personal injury and elder amongst other areas.
