About NEC Contracts®

NEC Contracts, or New Engineering Contract, is a suite of construction and civil engineering contracts developed in the UK. Launched in 1993 by the Institution of Civil Engineers, these contracts aim to provide a flexible and clear alternative to traditional contracts. They promote effective project management practices and have evolved through various editions, including the NEC3 and NEC4 suites.
