SECTION27 is a public interest law center located in Johannesburg, South Africa. Established in 2010, it evolved from the AIDS Law Project and is named after Section 27 of the South African Constitution, which guarantees rights to healthcare, food, water, and social security. The organization is dedicated to achieving substantive equality and social justice by using the law to protect and promote human rights.
