About Family Kids & Youth

Family Kids and Youth is an award winning market and social research agency specialising entirely in the lives of children, young people and those who care for them including parents, carers, teachers. We carry out quantitative and qualitative research using innovative techniques based on the team's training in psychotherapy, psychology and sociology. Our qualitative and ethnographic work takes us regularly into the homes of families, into schools and to voluntary organisations. We work in the UK, the rest of Europe, the US, Asia and Africa. Much of our work is published including the IKEA Play Reports (2010 and 2015), Youth United, Techknowledge for Schools, the Advertising Association, CAP. Our highly qualified and enthusiastic team regularly speaks at conferences and write papers. We are always happy to speak to clients about their research plans and are experts on child and adolescent development, play, digital engagement and family dynamics, behaviour change and wellbeing.
