Scapic was an augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technology company that was acquired by Flipkart Group in November 2020. The acquisition aimed to enhance Flipkart’s e-commerce platform by integrating immersive shopping experiences, including AR/VR and 3D content capabilities. Scapic operated a cloud-based platform that enabled clients to create and publish interactive AR/VR content without needing coding skills.
