Originally named City Memorial Hospital, it began with a bed capacity of 28 and has expanded over the years to accommodate 195 beds. The hospital is now owned by the Nacogdoches County Hospital District and is recognized as the region's only Level III Trauma Center, providing essential healthcare services to the community for over 94 years.
