About Government Innovation Lab Quetta

Government Innovation Lab (GIL) is housed at the University of Balochistan (UOB), which is an initiative of the Planning & Development Department (P&DD), Government of Balochistan (GoB) and supported by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). GIL aims to help government departments to improve service delivery and governance through innovative solutions through the agile methodology and citizen-centric approach. GIL ensure innovation through its robust framework of technology development. Government Innovation Lab (GIL), serves as a partnership and risk-taking space where teams (national government, local governments, academia, youth, citizens, and other stakeholders etc.) experiment and tests innovative ways of solving old and/or existing public service problems.
