Apache Oozie is an open-source workflow scheduler solution designed for cluster administrators. It enables users to schedule, manage, and execute Hadoop jobs in Hadoop distributed file system (HDFS), combine multiple jobs in a particular order to achieve the main task, build complex data transformations out of multiple component tasks, model workflow execution triggers in the form of the data, time, or event predicates, and schedule jobs specific to a system, like Java programs or shell scripts. Features include support for several types of Hadoop jobs, job scheduling, cluster management, data integration, load balancing, and callback HTTP URL.
