Description
DC/OS is an open-source distributed operating system designed for data centers. It is based on the Apache Mesos distributed systems kernel and enables users to manage multiple machines (cloud or on-premises), and deploy containers, distributed services, and legacy applications into those machines. Features include high resource utilization, mixed workload colocation, container orchestration, extensible resource isolation, stateful storage support, public and private package repositories, cloud-agnostic installer, elastic scalability, and high availability. Mesosphere DC/OS is also available as a subscription-based on the number of nodes in the environment and the support level required.
