IBM InfoSphere Change Data Capture is a database replication management tool designed for z/OS environments. It enables users to configure, start, and monitor replication, capture changes occurring at the databases, message queues, or an extract, transform, load (ETL) solution, optimize processing overhead and network traffic by sending only the data that has changed, perform replication either continuously or periodically, implement data distribution, data sharing, or data transformation, and work with tables and databases in source and target environments. Features include dynamic data warehousing, master data management, application consolidations or migrations, operational BI, and key information management.
