Oracle Flashback is a data recovery solution designed for database managers and administrators. It enables users to restore the entire database to a specific point in time, rather than backups and forward recovery, recover an accidentally dropped table, undo the effects of a single transaction, and optionally, all of its dependent transactions, see all the changes made by a specific transaction, as well as retrieve different versions of a row across a specified time interval. Components include Flashback Database, Flashback Table, Flashback Drop, Flashback Transaction, Flashback Transaction Query, Flashback Query, and Flashback Versions Query.
