Remploy is a UK-based organization founded in 1945, originally established to provide sheltered employment for disabled individuals, particularly WWII veterans. It began with its first factory in Bridgend, Wales, and grew to operate 94 sites by the late 1980s, employing over 10,000 people. While it has transitioned from manufacturing to offering employment services, its legacy in factory-based work remains significant.
